Congratulations to the students listed below who each received an award for the Glenorchy City Council Safer Communities Young People Awards. The students were presented with their awards and their Keys to Kindness packages at our assembly on Monday. Listed below are the citations written on each student's award certificate.
ISABEL MAYNE
Isabel puts the needs of others before her own and will go out of her way to make life easier for her teachers and peers. She sets an example for the younger grades through her vibrant, welcoming and gentle nature. Isabel is a thoughtful, compassionate and respectful member of the Holy Rosary Community. She is highly valued and is a worthy recipient of this award.
LACHLAN SEABOURNE
Lachlan displays pride in his school and schoolwork, along with a genuine kindness shown towards others, both his peers and other members of the community. Lachlan also regularly exhibits quiet leadership skills, particularly when others need assistance. Lachlan is a very deserving recipient of this award.
JORDAN TARVYDAS
Jordan is an inspiring student who is an excellent role model for her peers. She is kind and caring and considers the needs of others at all times. Jordan actively participates in community events and is a willing volunteer for charity organisations and committees at school. Her attitude and approach towards school are one of a fair go for all and to offer help wherever is needed. Jordan is a very deserving recipient of this award.
SIENNA BENT
Sienna is a sharing and positive Grade Three student. She demonstrates care and understanding for others in her actions. Sienna is a reliable student who exhibits fairness and equity in the classroom and playground. She always shows respect to her peers, teachers and all members of the Holy Rosary Catholic School community. Sienna is a very deserving recipient of this award.
DOMINIC JANDRIC
Domiinic is a respectful and positive member of Grade 2. He has a kind and caring soul that sees him consistently demonstrate the Holy Rosary School values both inside and outside of the classroom. Dominic is always the first to lend a helping hand and displays foresight and resourcefulness. These qualities make him a very deserving recipient of this award.
COOPER MAGUIRE
Cooper has demonstrated great personal development and growth throughout this year. He has emerged as a positive role model to all students in Grade One. Cooper is upbeat in all he tackles, and his attitude creates a sense of optimism and confidence amongst his peers. Cooper always takes the time to speak to everyone with respect and genuine care and interest. Cooper is a very deserving recipient of this award.
