Dear Parents & Guardians,

This week is recognised as National Reconciliation Week (NRW) - a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
For the work of generations past and the fate of generations future, Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2023, “Be a voice for generations” urges us all to act today for a more reconciled country.
We warmly welcome Mr Adam Taylor to the role of Utility Officer at our school. Adam, an old scholar of Holy Rosary has come full circle and has returned to where he spent many hours as a student. Adam has recently completed a Traineeship at The Friends School. Alongside Damian, they will make a formidable team!
As we head into winter this week we have had a lot of students unwell with coughs and colds. There have been confirmed cases of Influenza and Covid amongst our student population. To try and contain any outbreaks we ask you to be mindful of symptoms and keep students home if they are unwell.
Thank you to Mr Ben Johnson and everyone who helped run the Cross Country recently. A wonderful day with lots of passion, fun and good sportsmanship. Congratulations to all our students who participated and earned points for their houses. Well done to those students who have been selected to represent the school at the upcoming Catholic School Cross County event.
