News from Grade 3
Did you know Easter lasts for 50 days?
Last week Fr Suresh visited Grade 3 as it was the last week of the Easter Season. The Easter season is the second longest liturgical season, lasting for 50 days. It finishes with the Feast of Pentecost. Father brought in a large plain box telling us that it was full of eggs that his chickens had laid and that Cadbury's had wrapped them up in pretty foil for us! We all loved hearing Father's humour as he reminded us that the eggs represent new life and new beginnings. Later that day 3M celebrated Mass at St Bernard's Parish. Father is still wearing the traditional colours of Easter - gold and white. During the Season of Easter, our class prayer leaders run a prayer circle and we always use the traditional Church Season colours for our centre piece.
