Dear Parents and Guardians
On behalf of the school community I would like to extend a special welcome to our Kindergarten children and to students who are commencing at Holy Rosary Catholic School for the very first time. We also welcome to our Holy Rosary Catholic School community Clara, Edie, Nina, Hunter, Valencia, Isabella, Mabel, Xavier and Marshall.
We welcome back Mrs Catherine Perkins from Parental Leave. We also welcome to our Holy Rosary Catholic School community Emily Berry (Administration), Belinda McCreghan (Teaching Assistant), Olivia French (Teaching Assistant), Georgia Hay (Trainee), James Bourke (Trainee), April Bradford, Cody Peterson, Montana Hills and Veronika Rabosea our Catholic Care Ludo educators. I would like to thank all staff for the dedication and commitment during January to ensure our school environment is ready for our students.
2021 is indeed a very unique year in the history of Holy Rosary Catholic School. It is our 60th Anniversary. It is the very first year we welcome three years olds into our community with our partnership with Catholic Care. It is also the year that we will have the majority of our buildings completed and after the devastation of January 2020 we are all feeling very relieved to be returning to a school that continues to grow and provide an outstanding environment for all our students.
Once again I look forward to working with you and your child/children in 2021 and please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email at bernie.brooks@catholic.tas.edu.au

Prayer for the Start of the School Year
God of wisdom and might,
we praise you for the wonder of our being,
for mind, body and spirit.
Be with our children as they begin
a new school year.
Bless them and our staff and our community.
Give the strength and grace as their bodies grow;
wisdom and knowledge to their minds
as they search for understanding;
and peace and zeal to their hearts.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
