Grade 3 would like to share some of their reflections about their recent overnight camp to Spring Beach in Orford.

What did we do at camp?

We went to the beach. The teachers said only go in the water up to your ankles - but we got all wet. Anna

We played basketball, table tennis and 8 ball.  We went to the beach. We went on a lot of walks! Blake

We went to the park for fruit break. We went to Richmond Gaol and had lunch at Richmond Park. We went to a camp in Spring Beach near Orford. Lacey

We went to the beach, we played football. We stayed one night. Caleb

What was the most challenging?

Getting my sleeping bag back in its bag - Isabella

Putting on the bedsheet. Dom

Brushing my teeth and staying away. Levi

THE WALK! ON THE CONVICT ROAD! And getting out of bed without sleeping again! Alison

What was the least enjoyable thing about camp?

Going back to school. Harrison

To make camp even better, I think I would add or change?

I would add swimming and beach volleyball because it would be more fun. Valencia

I would change the rock climbing wall so that it would be finished. Max

Making camp two days long and more time at Richmond. Lucas

Eat icecream for dessert, stay 3 nights, roast marshmallows. Amelia Mi.

I will add watching TV, eating McDonalds and I will change sleeping for doing crazy stuff! Ryan

How do I feel about camps now that I have been? Would I go to another school camp?

Yes, I would because I know that I have wonderful friends to keep me company. Aliana

Definitely, because it was really fun, plus you share a room with your friends. Georgia

What have I learnt from going on camp / how have I grown?

I can be far away from Mum and Dad. Cai

I’ve learnt about tank water and climbing equipment. Aaliyah

It’s not scary, I know I can do it again without any worries. Harry P.
