During Term 3 our Grade 4 classes have been participating and completing the Australian Religious Literacy Assessment. The Religious Literacy Assessment provides information about the way our students in Grade 4 process and express their religious knowledge. ‘Religious’ literacy refers to the way children use their literacy skills to communicate their understanding of the religious tradition. It is an external Diocesan assessment which consists of multiple choice / short answer questions reflecting the outcomes of the Religious Education Curriculum. The students complete this assessment online using their ipads. Our Holy Rosary Staff, including our Grade 4 teachers and Religious Education Coordinator, Mrs Libby Piesse, analyse the data gathered from the Religious Literacy Assessment to inform future learning and teaching in the domain of Religious Education.
