Dear Families

It seems hard to believe that we are coming to the end of our second term and have a two week break to recharge our energies ready for the third term.   It certainly has been a very busy and productive term and we have so many reasons to celebrate our achievements during this time.  In addition to these achievements we continue to focus on the core business of teaching and learning and providing our students with the very best educational opportunities. 

All members of our community have now been informed of my decision to retire from Principalship of Holy Rosary Catholic School at the end of 2021. This incredible school and community has been such a huge part of my life for 9 years. Parents, staff and students have had the opportunity to consult or complete surveys in relation to the characteristics they believe are required for the next ten years. The position of Principal will be advertised in the coming weeks and the community will be informed by Catholic Education Tasmania when a decision has been reached and an appointment made. I will be on leave during Term 3 but will return for Term 4 and look forward to spending time in Term 4 with our community.

We thank everyone for their ongoing support of Holy Rosary Catholic School and look forward to third term which will commence on Monday 19th July.
