Dear Parents

Welcome back to Term 3. Our students have returned very settled and eager for a term of learning, discovering and connecting with each other. At this time in our lives when so many other things are changing, to have the stability and routine of school is something to be appreciated. We greatly appreciate the support of our families in relation to social distancing while on the school site and the many parents who have continued to use Kiss and Drop and gate pick up. These do assist us in limiting the numbers of adults on our site. We are all getting used to these changes everywhere we go and we want to remain vigilant to ensure the ongoing health of our community. It seems that we are all continuing to develop skills of flexibility and adaptability. Our thoughts are most certainly with those around the world and especially in our own country and the State of Victoria who continue to feel the significant impacts of COVID in their daily lives. 

Over the holiday break our building works have continued. Current works include the new Canteen, Student resource hub, library, second block of toilets, and the Grade 2 and 3 classrooms. Future works to commence over the coming months will  include additional therapy rooms, new learning support room and office and the relocation of our sensory space, mapali. We are currently exploring modifications to the Early Years Centre for our early learning partnership with Catholic Care.

We welcome to our school community Ruby in Grade 3, Aiden in Grade 4 and Lucas in Grade 2.

We look forward to working in partnership with you during this term.
