On Thursday our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enjoyed exploring the educational experience, ‘Where the sun goes to sleep’ at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. The students learnt all about what the West Coast of Tasmania means to Tasmanian Aboriginal People. We have so much to learn from a long rich history of innovation, community and care for our land. Thank you to our staff, Mrs Sarah Dance, Mrs Sally Coad, Mrs Di Bourke and Mrs Danielle Previdi who accompanied the students and our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Isalnder Key Teacher Mrs Catherine Midson for her organization of this experience.
