Over the past weekend six Holy Rosary teams competed in the Basketball Championships. This was our sixth year of competing in the championships. In 2013 when we started very few of our students had ever played basketball and we played in our school soccer tops. Fast forward six years and we have a firm basketball culture in our school, fantastic basketball tops for all teams and huge participation. To see past students and parents still supporting and coaching our teams shows what a strong community spirit we have.  A massive thank you to our coaches for all your efforts.

The biggest thank you of all goes to Kate Clark who has continued to organise and support our teams even though both her children have moved into High School. What a commitment from Kate and how grateful we are. Kate had a vision 6 years ago and has achieved this vision and that was to see our students have the opportunity to compete and develop a love of the game.
