Dear Families,

Celebrating Our Students

We are incredibly proud of the students from Grades 3-6 who represented our school at the Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival last Friday. Their commitment, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm were wonderful. It was great to see their hard work being showcased on the day — well done to all who participated!

World Teachers’ Day

Last Friday, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day. We are truly blessed with an extraordinary team of teachers who are dedicated, passionate, caring, and committed to supporting every student’s learning journey. Thank you to our wonderful teaching staff for everything you do every day — you make our school a great place to learn and grow.

eSafety and Social Media Age Restrictions

Last week, I participated in an eSafety seminar, helping to strengthen our commitment to supporting safe and positive online behaviours. With the upcoming implementation of social media age restrictions from December 10th, we welcome this important initiative aimed at protecting children online and allowing them to enjoy being children for as long as possible.

How can families help? We encourage parents and carers to discuss online behaviour and screen use at home, and explore the fantastic resources and guides available on the eSafety website. Together, we can support our young people to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

Outdoor Lockdown Drill

Last week, we conducted our first outdoor lockdown practice at the end of lunch. We would like to congratulate our students on the calm and respectful way they responded and followed instructions. Their maturity and sense of responsibility during the drill were extremely impressive.

Grade 6 Canberra Camp

This week, our Grade 6 students have headed off to Canberra for their much-anticipated learning experience. With a very full and exciting schedule ahead, this is a wonderful opportunity for them to deepen their understanding of civics, history, and leadership. We wish them a fantastic trip and look forward to hearing all about their adventures and learning when they return.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our school community. We continue to be proud of our students and grateful for the partnership we share with our families.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Kind Regards,

Susan McGann
