Riding the Wave of Learning in Term 1!

What a busy and exciting start to the year we have had at Holy Rosary! From hands-on science experiments exploring solids, liquids, and gases to diving into our NAPLAN assessments this week, our students have been fully engaged in their learning.

We are looking forward to our first bushwalk excursion of the year to Shag Bay on April 4th, where we will get to explore nature together and connect with country. In 5B, students have loved having Herbie, our classroom dog, visit and bring some extra joy to our learning space. Our swimming program kicked off the term with energy, helping students build confidence and skills in the water.

In preparation for Easter, we have explored the days of Holy Week in depth, reflecting on their significance. Our new Windows laptops have been put to great use, and our classrooms are filled with creative displays showcasing our school values—Respect, Safety, and Learning—as well as stunning "About Me" artworks.

Our Maths Olympiad students have started their journey for the year, and some of our students have been practicing to become Altar Servers for Mass. The list of activities and achievements is endless, but through it all, we continue to ride the wave of learning with smiles on our faces!

We can’t wait for what the rest of the year has in store!
