Since we last communicated staffing arrangements at the end of last year we have had a few changes. Mrs Sharon Goldsworthy who has been our Enrolment and Administration Officer has accepted a position at Mount Carmel College; Mr Terry Jones, one of our Utility Officers is setting up his own business in Gardening and Property Maintenance; Mrs Lisa Machin who has been a Teacher Assistant is moving to work in the reception of the Catholic Education Office; Mr Brandon Van Tienen, our IT guru is moving to work in the IT department of School Locker. We thank each of these staff members for their time with us and the wonderful work they have done to support the students and families of the school.
Thank you to our dedicated staff for all their work prior to students commencing. They spent many hours preparing classrooms, planning for the weeks and months ahead, undertaking professional learning, re-engaging with each other, doing administrative tasks, and preparation of the grounds - a great team effort! I am sure all our families appreciate all the work that has been done.
We held our first Coffee & Chat for this year on Wednesday and it was lovely to meet and chat with some of our parents. Moving forward we will hold this informal catch-up on the first Wednesday of every month. Diary dates for this term for our next Coffee & Chat will be Wednesday 1st March and Wednesday 5th April in the Student Hub from 8:30 am.
