Dear Parents & Guardians,

This weekend we celebrate all the wonderful contributions our fathers, step dads, grandfathers and uncles play in the lives of our students. Their guidance, love and nurturing ways have such an impact on our young people. We appreciate all they do and wish everyone a very special day on Sunday.

Special thanks to the wonderful organisers of our Father’s Day Stall - Linda Perry, Kylie Wilson, Michelle Bergman, Jessica Brown & Kath Crawford. They do a fantastic job sourcing and preparing items for the students to purchase - we are very appreciative of your efforts.

It was wonderful to attend Grade 3 Camp this week at Dodges Ferry. It can always be a little challenging to go on your first school camp. The students had a wonderful time exploring the grounds, undertaking team-building games and finishing with a movie. Thank you to the staff who gave up their own family time to attend, we are very thankful - Donna Rickwood, Michelle Hibberd, Gab Fisher, Libby Piesse, Chelsea Browning, Dylan Burnett & Hannah Direen.

Congratulations to the following Grade 6 students who have been chosen to represent the school in the upcoming Webb v Dennison Interschool Football and Netball games. This event will be held at 4:00 pm on September 11th at Dominic College.

Our Grade 6 students are preparing to head to Canberra in November. We are asking for your support as they try to raise the last few funds needed for their trip.

Tomorrow we are hosting our annual Family Breakfast! We are looking forward to welcoming all our families from 7:30 am in Area 1. We will plan to have some indoor warmer spaces available if the cold weather continues.

Grade Six are having a busy year!  

We are extremely excited about our Canberra trip in November and our fundraising efforts are continuing this term.  We have an amazing raffle with first prize being a voucher with Pennicott Wilderness Tours value $350, along with three awesome hampers.  I congratulate our school leaders Mackenzie Berry, William Bray, Cooper Dodderidge and Poppy Roberts for organising and obtaining our prizes. A big shout out to Pennicott Wilderness Tours and Andrea Hewitt for kindly donating these prizes, thank you..  Ticket sales have begun and will be available to purchase at Fridays Family Breakfast or at any time from the school office.

The theme of Book Week 2024 was 'Reading is magic' and what a magical day it was at Holy Rosary! 

From Princesses to Paddingtons - we saw it all. Reading is a wonderful way to connect with your child and encourage imagination and curiosity.

To assist us with ordering uniform stock for the 2025 year, please complete the Back to School Order form through the link at the bottom of the page.  Please return by Friday 20th September 2024. This will enable enough uniforms to be purchased to meet the needs of the school community. You can exchange or return uniform items if not required.
 
IF YOU DO NOT PRE-ORDER there will be no guarantee that all uniform items will be available.
 
There will be a limit of one item off the shelf per customer with further quantities going on back order for all purchases on QKR, or order forms returned after the due date of 20th September 2024. This will allow time for our designed uniform pieces, that have a long production time frame, and deliveries which could be affected by restrictions interstate and overseas.
 
Pre-ordered uniforms can be paid for when you place your order, OR before the end of term 4 OR on the allocated collection days via the office.

Further information will be provided as to uniform shop appointments later in the year.
